Glen Lawrence Golf Club Members Rules & Regulations for 2011 Season
The Management of Glen Lawrence Golf Club shall be in complete charge of the Club at all times
Members and their guests must respect all Club employees. We are here to serve you, our customers. Any issues in this regards should be reported to Management for resolution
All Club rules, etiquette and RCGA/GAO rules will be enforced by the Club
The Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) specifically prohibits any alcohol not purchased on the premises to be brought onto the property. All alcoholic beverages consumed on the premises must be purchased from Glen Lawrence Golf Club. No personal coolers are allowed on the course. No consuming alcohol in the parking lot. Any player found with illegal alcohol will be asked to leave the property immediately and may forfeit their membership
Smoking is only permitted in designated area
All members and guests must check in at the Pro Shop prior to play
Changes or cancellations of tee times must be made at least 24 hours in advance of a scheduled time
Marshals have full authority on the golf course to enforce Club rules and pace of play
Foursomes have the right of way at all times. Singles and twosomes will be paired by the Pro Shop when necessary
As a courtesy, groups unable or failing to keep pace of play should allow other golfers to play through
All groups making the turn must be on the tenth tee before the following group arrives or they forfeit their position and the following group has the right of way
Please respect the course. Repair all ball marks on the greens, replace all divots and maintain all sand traps
Appropriate golf attire required
Please seek proper shelter immediately when inclement weather is imminent
Management reserves the right to close the course due to course conditions or events at any time
Each operator of a golf cart must be at least sixteen years of age and have a valid driver’s license. Absolutely no children may be allowed to operate a golf cart
All power cart use is based upon two persons per power cart
Golf carts must be assigned by the Pro Shop prior to play
Please comply with all signs pertaining to golf cart use on the course
Members and their guests agree to be responsible for damage to the cart beyond normal wear and tear or any damage to the golf course resulting from irresponsible use of the rented power cart
Members release and agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Glen Lawrence Golf Club and its employees and agents from all liability whether for injuries to them or third persons or damage to the property arising out of operation of power carts.
